Francesco Lollobrigida has been Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty since October 2022. In 2018, he was elected deputy in the Lazio 2 constituency and then group leader in the Chamber. From 2013 to 2018 he was National Head of the Italian Brothers Party Organization after being one of its founders in 2012.
In 2010 he became Councillor for Mobility Policies and Local Public Transport after being Regional Councillor of Lazio in 2006 and Councillor for Sport, Cultrua and Tourism at the Municipality of Ardea in 2005. In 1998 he was appointed Provincial Councillor of the Province of Rome.
He began his political career in 1996 as Provincial Secretary of the Youth Front of the Province of Rome, Regional Representative CO.BA.R. Lazio during the service of Leva in Aeronautica and Municipal Councillor to the Municipality of Subiaco until 2000. In the same years he also held various roles within the youth movements of Student Action and Youth Action, as well as in the National Assembly of National Alliance.
